At times life gets tough.  We all struggle from time to time.  Occasionally, it can be important to have support during relational conflict, high stress moments, powerful emotions, intense thoughts, or finding your values and asserting yourself with others.

Many of us find it difficult or don't want to discuss personal challenges, even to those closest to us.  Individual therapy can provide a safe, supportive, and validating space during these tough times.  It can offer you a new way of looking at things that can help you make positive changes and facilitate growth from your experiences. 


I offer 30-minute, 45-minute, and 60 minute sessions tailored to your specific needs.

During each individual session, we work together to understand what is currently happening and why we think that is occurring.  We will develop a specialized treatment plan with weekly goals to address and work towards.  We will create a plan of helpful coping strategies, skills, and work towards behavior change to reach your specific goals.

Typically we will meet weekly to every other week. Following each session you will leave the appointment with new insight and ideas of strategies you can practice within the week.  Generally we assign homework for you to complete and report on at the following session.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

  • Mindfulness based practices

  • Person-Centered Therapy

  • Strengths-based practices
